About the TMJ Joints


The temporomandibular joint is the small joint that is situated right in front of the ear.

It is located in a spot where the lower jaw and the skull meet. The TMJ joints actually allow the proper movement and functioning of the lower jaw. However, if it doesn’t function well, a condition called TMJ disorders may be diagnosed.

What is the TMJ disorder?
The TMJ disorders root from a malfunctioning and incorrect positioning of the jaw. Oftentimes, the TMJ symptoms arise and they do vary from one person to another.
